In 2025, during our fourth year of studies, we developed PRELUDI, a collaborative project between Transportation Design and Interior Design (w: Clàudia VIla).
Conceived as an experiential catamaran, the project rethinks public transportation by transforming the journey to music festivals into an immersive prelude to the event itself.
The sketching process was driven by the intention to create an organic and fluid spatial language. From the beginning, the design explored oval and curved forms that respond naturally to movement, flow, and the marine context. These soft geometries helped shape a continuous experience on board, avoiding rigid divisions and allowing spaces to blend smoothly into one another.
Sketching became a tool to explore rhythm, circulation, and atmosphere, translating the concept of PRELUDI into forms that feel dynamic, open, and in constant motion. Just like the journey itself.
