In 2024, during my third year of Transportation Design at IED Barcelona, I developed Nereus, a marine research and animal care project focused on healing and studying ocean wildlife in need.
The project explored how scientific research, animal welfare, and environmental sensitivity could be integrated into a design that enables both medical treatment and research directly within the marine environment.
The project started with a research phase focused on exploring forms that aligned with the design proposal and the intended moodboard.
This was the result of my first sketches, which were then developed in Photoshop to better understand and define the volumes.
